The Pembroke Room, Bar & Gardens is Norwich's best kept secret! A wonderfully intimate and elegant space with the opportunity to host all elements of your special day. From the I do's, to the breakfast, and the first dance. Accommodating 60 seated for the ceremony and breakfast, and able to offer a further 40 guests in the evening, with our maximum capacity of 100 guests at any one time. The Pembroke Room offers an exclusive bar, with a private courtyard & garden. Designed with lashings of style and a wealth of personality, which makes for a perfect backdrop to a memorable day. With 35 rooms available, your guests can simply kick off their shoes and fall into bed!

We have 35 accommodation options to choose from consisting of a great range of rooms, suites and apartments. So it's perfect for those guests from out of town.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we have live music anywhere?
Live music is permitted only in The Pembroke Room. The venue is not licensed for
music outside due to our residential city location.
Can we have a band instead of a DJ?
Either! We do kindly ask the band is no more than a 5 piece. Purely due to the nature
of the room & space. They will look to set up in the bay window of the room. Perfect
setting for a first dance!
Do you provide decorations?
As a site we do not provide decorations. But please feel free to bring your own.
Who will arrange the decorations on the day?
This responsibility lies with our couple & their team! TGT are happy to dress the
table during the dining turnover period (breakfast).
May we bring confetti?
Absolutely! We do kindly ask this is for outside use only & biodegradable.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
Of course you can choose whoever feels right for you both. We have our
recommended suppliers who are fantastic also!
What happens if it rains?
The question we get asked the most, whatever month! We always have a plan B, no
matter what. There are various options available. Such as our neighbouring venue, The Scout Hut or the pub itself.
Can I set up the night before?
Set up is strictly on the day of the wedding, as organised & agreed with the venue.
Do babies count in the 60 number?
They certainly do! Every single guest big or small. This is due to safety regulations.
Do you provide a cake stand & knife?
As a venue, we do not provide either item.
Can we bring our own food?
External food & beverage is not permitted on site. Only wedding cakes are exempt.

We booked a selection of apartments for our guests and every  single room was amazing!! We had the Colonel's Retreat to get ready for the day and it was brilliant with the upstairs and downstairs. From wandering around to see if we would book this venue to collecting our decorations today, a few weeks on, this place has been fantastic. We had our wedding here and pretty much took over for the weekend. We stayed 3 nights, and other guests 2. All our guests commented on how much they loved the rooms and also on the food. Oh the food! We had a BBQ and it was brilliant. The staff were fabulous and really went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. They accommodated our requests to the letter and it really went with a swing.
