Complimented by an adjoining glasshouse bar, the Pembroke Room opens onto a private courtyard and enclosed garden. This customisable setting is ideal for both seated dinners and standing buffets- accommodating up to 60 guests for dining or 100 for mingling.

Head Chef Matt’s menus are thoughtfully curated using the finest British ingredients to create the ideal accompaniment to your day- from delicious canapés for peckish guests to the main event 3 course Wedding Breakfast and even a late night snack to help fuel those dancing feet.

Can I have my ceremony on site?

Yes, we are a fully licensed venue so you can enjoy every moment of your day with us.

Who do we liaise with?

We have an on site events team who will help you plan every last detail and be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Ceremony & Reception

Can we have live music?

Live music is permitted only in The Pembroke Room. The venue is not licensed for music outside due to our residential city location.

Can we choose our own suppliers?

Of course you can choose whoever is right for you. We also have a list of recommended suppliers who are amazing.

Can we bring our own food?

Only food and drink purchased on site can be consumed- other than wedding cakes. Something particular in mind? Do get in touch and we will see what we can do as we are primarily a pub and restaurant so happy to look into special requests.

Decorations

Do you provide decorations?

As a site, we do not provide decorations but feel free to bring your own.

Who will arrange the decorations on the day?

Whilst the initial set up of your decorations lies with the couple and their team- we are happy to organise the table turnaround between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

Can I set up the night before?

Set up is strictly on the day of the wedding as discussed and agreed with the team.

We always have a Plan B, with various options including the Scout Hut or the pub itself.

Is there parking on site?

We do have a car park on site but it does fill up quickly- there are several options nearby for parking that our lovely team will be happy to share with you and your guests.
